Description:
Suffrutex 0.3-1.2 m tall. Few to several simple stems arising from a branched woody rhizome, covered with rust coloured hairs. Leaves 3-4-whorled, markedly discolorous. Indumentum of leaf undersides consisting of a mixture of coarse hairs and an understorey of papillae. Inflorescence 2-6-flowered, or flowers sometimes solitary. Corolla yellow or cream-coloured.
