Description:
|
Procumbent, straggling or erect perennial herb with stems up to 1 m long growing from a woody rootstock. Leaves more or less narrowly ovate or elliptic, 5.5-12 cm long, glossy green above, usually greyish beneath, stiff and leathery; margin toothed at least in the lower half. Inflorescence capitate on the upper half of the stems. Corolla pale, bright or dark blue, mauve or bluish-purple, 25-35 mm long and 14-18 mm wide. Lip 3-5-lobed with 3 strong ribs. Capsule 9-10 mm long. |
