| Description: |
Herb occurring in closely spaced communities. Corm subglobose, with dark brown or black tunic, set 5-8 cm below ground. No stem above ground. Leaves numerous, forming a rosette, ovate at base, with a long acumen. Bracts pale pink and white. Flowers c. 4 in a congested head. Ovary with 3 carpels. |
