Namwala District; Ila National Forest. 11.0 km west of Namwala along motorable dirt track. 0Zambia SS950Herb; 80 cm, erect. Stems swollen, succulent. Leaf nodes tinged with red. Inflorescence bracts pale green. Flowers pale purple to almost white. Anthers bright yellow turning blackish. Young fruits green with purple margins. Common.0
