Description:
Perennial herbs up to 45 cm high, often forming clumps. Leaves linear-lanceolate, up to 34 cm long and up to 12 mm wide, hairless; margin slightly undulate. Peduncle slender, terete, hairless. Inflorescence dense, 3-15 cm long, spike-like; floral bracts lanceolate, up to 10 mm long. Pedicels solitary, articulated at the apex. Perianth slightly bell-shaped, white; tepals 6 mm long, 1-veined. Anthers small, c. 1 mm long, much shorter than filaments. Capsule subglobose, c. 3 × 5 mm, 3-angled, deeply lobed.
