Perennial bulbous herb. Leaf solitary basal, elliptic lanceolate, basal lobes more or less clasping the flowering stem; margin wavy. Inflorescence an erect terminal one-sided raceme. Flowers pendulous, green.

Habitat: In grassland or open woodland, in seasonal pans and on poorly drained soils.
Altitude range: Up to 1400 m
