Description:
Shrub or small tree. Leaves obovate to oblanceolate with numerous lateral veins; margin densely toothed. Flowers in few-flowered axillary clusters, bright yellow, very short-lived. Fruit 4-7 ovoid drupes, surrounded by the bright-red persistent sepals, often folded over the developing fruits at first.
