Description:
Small annual herb. Stems prostrate or decumbent, 4-sided, glabrous, often purplish. Leaves opposite, ± sessile, 0.5-1.7 cm long, narrowly elliptic to oblancolate, glabrous and glaucous. Flowers single or occasionally in pairs in the leaf axils; pedicels slender, up to 1.8 cm long. Petals white or rose, 2.5-3 mm long. Style very short, less than 0.5 mm long and much shorter than the ovary. Capsule splitting into 5 valves. Seeds numerous.
