Description:
|
Prostrate perennial with annual creeping stems. Stems densely hairy. Leaves opposite, not lobed, very broadly ovate, up to 22 mm long; margin crenate-serrate. Flowers solitary, axillary, very pale to deep pink or mauve, usually with darker spots on the lower lip and in the throat. Fruit almost circular in outline c. 20 mm broad, densely covered in whitish hairs, with 2 erect spines on the raised upper surface. See the much more widespread D. senecioides for comparison. |
