Description:
Shrubby perennial herb with woody stems, mostly less than 1.5 m. Leaves elliptic-oblong to ovate. Inflorescences few-flowered. Flowers white, sometimes tinged with pink, sweetly scented; corolla tube up to 14 cm long.

Notes:
Derivation of specific name: nobilis: noble, stately
Habitat: In rocky places in Brachystegia woodland but most commonly on granite kopjes outcrops.
