Description:
Terrestrial herb 5–11 cm tall, growing from ovoid tubers, 10–20 mm long. Leaf 1, appressed to the ground, orbicular to kidney-shaped, 7–15 mm long and wide, hairless, more or less withered at flowering time. Scape hairy at the base, hairless towards the apex and with 2–3 bract-like leaves. Inflorescence laxly 2–10-flowered, flowers more or less secund; ovary 5–7 mm long; bracts 2.5 mm long. Flowers white, sometimes tinged with lilac. Sepals green, ovate, 2–2.5 mm long, lateral sepals oblique. Petals 4–5 mm long, 3-lobed; lobes 2–3.5 mm long, very shortly papillose. Lip cuneate or oblong, 4–6 mm long, lying against the column at the base, 3-lobed with lobes similar to the petal lobes but slightly shorter. Spur 3–4 mm long, slender, tapering, straight or slightly incurved.
