Description:
Terrestrial herb up to 16 cm tall; entire plant usually purple-red or pink; leafless except for 2-3 sheath-like leaves 5-12 mm long; inflorescence with 1 or 2, rarely 3 flowers pinkish with darker coloured spur.

Zambia, Kundalila Falls
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: Breviloba: with short lobes.
Habitat: Montane grassland, open dambos and Brachystegia woodlands usually in shallow soils over rocks.
Altitude range: 1200 - 2340 m
