Small slender annual, up to 20 cm high, with minute root system. Culms 3-angled, 6-11 cm long, ± 0.5 mm wide, glabrous. Inflorescence a slender panicle. Spikelets 2-4 per cluster, spaced out over the panicle; glumes golden brown; perianth segments absent. |
