Location (detailed): Small nature reserve covering 440 ha of bushveld and rocky outcrops. It is situated along the Bulawayo -Vic Falls road about 9 km from the city centre. The northern boundary of the area consists of a dam in the Umguza River.


Although little or no game is left in the reserve, birdlife and flora are varied and interesting. Picnic sites are available by the dam and the area makes an excellent day outing close to Bulawayo.
