Location (detailed): Mwabvi Wildlife Reserve is Malawi’s smallest wildlife, covering an area of 135km² in Nsanje District. It lies near the southern tip of Malawi on the border with Mozambique.

Description

It is hot and dry and situated at low altitudes of 150-400 m asl. The scenery offers views over the Shire and Zambezi rivers and magnificent sandstone outcrops. Habitats include Mopane, Combretum and Brachystegia woodland, open savanna, dambos, sandstone outcrops and riverine areas.
