Curator of the vascular plant herbarium at ULg (LG). Secretary, since 1970, of the Society for the Exchange of Vascular Plants of Europe and the Mediterranean Basin. He made two trips to tropical Africa, from where he brought back many herbarium specimens. His scientific merits earned him the François Crépin prize for the period 1977-1979 by the Royal Botanical Society of Belgium. He collected vascular plants in Central Africa. His collections are kept in LG, BR, IRST and WAG. |
