General Information


Marc Stalmans is an ecologist with 20 years of nature conservation management and development experience in the public, parastatal, and private sectors. He has been involved in projects in a number of African countries (Angola, Cameroon, Gabon, Mozambique, South Africa, Togo and Zimbabwe), the Middle East (Dubai), and the Far East (China). He holds a Forestry Engineering degree, a certificate in Tropical Animal Health and Production, a MSc Degree in Botany, and a PhD in Animal, Plant and Environmental Sciences. He currently is Director of Scientific Services at Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique and Director at International Conservation Services.
