| Notes: | Herb; Notes: Prostrate herb. Stems trailing, limp, slender, dark green but masked by dense, long, white, sericeous indumentum. Leaves alternate, simple; petiole 1-2 mm long, densely sericeous; lamina ovate, apex minutely apiculate, base rounded, margin entire, grey-green, both surfaces with dense silvery adpressed hairs. Flowers solitary, axillary, campanulate, small, 5-6 mm in diameter. Petals 5, fused, blue. Sepals 5, free, ovate, 2 x 1 mm, densely pubescent, persistent. Fruit a capsule, globose, 5-sutured, white and brittle, dehiscent. Seeds numerous, yellow-brown, deltoid to irregular. |
