| Notes: | Herb; Notes: Annual herb, 30 - 50 cm high when in flower. Stems unbranched, 4-angled, green with dense, short, white adpressed indumentum. Leaves opposite, simple, subsessile; lamina narrowly elliptic, apex acute, base cuneate, margin irregularly dentate, 40-100 x 6-12 mm, dull yellow-green with dark green venation, with dense, short, white, hirsutellous indumentum becoming glabrate , aromatic. Flowers densely verticillate at apex in 1-2 whorls, bilabiate. Petals fused, cream-coloured. Sepals 5, free, linear, spine-tipped, densely pubescent, persistent. Stamens 2. Abundant in disturbed areas. |
