| Description: |
Woody trailing or climbing plant; younger stems pilose, glabrescent with age, longitudinally ribbed and furrowed. Leaves bipinnate, pinnate-ternate or pinnate with the lateral leaflets more or less deeply trilobed; leaflets typically oblong with few rather irregular teeth, glabrous or glabrescent on upper surface, pubescent to pilose, especially on the veins, or nearly glabrous on lower surface. Inflorescence loose, 3–7 or more-flowered or flowers occasionally solitary; pedicels 1.5–6.5 cm long; buds ellipsoid, rounded or acute. Sepals 1.2–2.5 cm long, outer surface pale pink or purple with scattered hairs or glabrescent outside except at the margin which is densely hairy; inner surface densely lanate. |
