Zambian distribution var. boeckeleriana: FZ divisions: B,N,W - Zambian prov.: Nw.N,C,W. Var. transiens (K.Schum.) R.W.Haines is also likely to be present in Zambia. The inflorescence is more lax, typically with a single sessile spikelet surrounded by 1-5 stalked spikelets. Red data list status: Although known from just two localities in Zambia, it is widespread globally: Least concern. |
