Perennial semi-aquatic herb usually rooted but sometimes free-floating. Stems prostrate. Leaves not peltate: petiole up to 25 cm; lamina 0.6-4.5 × 1-6 cm, reniform with adeep narrow basal sinus; margin crenate with 5-8 lobes. Inflorescence a simple umbel, borne on a 1.5-5 cm peduncle. Flowers 5-10, borne on very short rays. Petals greenish-white. Fruit subrectangular, flat. |
