Description: |
Epiphytic herb, occasionally lithophytic; stem c. 2.5 cm long with stout roots at the base of the stem, up to c. 6 mm in diameter. Leaves 3–7, in a fan, linear, up to c. 14 cm long, folded along the length, arching, obscurely 2-lobed at the apex, rather yellow-green. Inflorescences 1–2, axillary in the lower leaves, 12–15 cm long, 4–5-flowered. Peduncle c. 8 cm long, with 4-5 black sheathing bracts. Flowers non resupinate, fleshy, set 2–4 cm apart, creamy-yellow with scattered, short rusty hairs. Dorsal sepal ovate, 13–14 mm long, convex; lateral sepals obliquely ovate, 12–13 mm long. Petals ovate, 11–12 mm long, spreading. Lip 11–12 mm long, entire, fleshy, boat-shaped; spur 16–20 mm long, very slender, pendent, straight. |
