Description:
Twining liane, woody at the base. The leaves are broadly ovate to suborbicular and strongly peltate; flowers in false compound umbels, axillary, sexes separate but similar.

Habitat: In open and wooded grassland, preferring moist and shady places near rivers or swamps.
