Description: |
Small to medium-sized deciduous tree, to 9 m. Bark pale whitish-grey. Leaves 2-foliolate; leaflets ovate, only slightly curved, 3-5 cm long, asymmetric, glossy green above, paler below, hairless; apex rounded. Flowers in lax terminal heads, creamy-yellow to white, c. 5 mm in diameter. Fruit a flat, thin, leathery pod, almost round, c. 4 × 3 cm, pale creamy brown, indehiscent. Seed without an aril. |
