Description:
Erect branched perennial, 0.5-1.8 m. Branches blackish and rigid, greyish pubescent when young. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets elliptic to obovate-oblong, 4-8 cm long, green and sparsely pubescent above, densely silvery tomentose below with prominent veining and numerous small orange glands present. Flowers in numerous axillary, paniculate clusters, often on leafless branches, bright yellow with reddish-brown on the outside of the standard. Pods elliptic-oblong, up to 3-1.2 cm, densely matted with yellowish or silvery-grey hairs and numerous small glands.
