Description:
Annual or perennial climbing or trailing herb up to 70 cm long; stems slender and villous; leaves 3-foliolate, leaflets 24-58 x 8-34 mm, elliptic, the lateral leaflets sometimes oblique, appressed pubescent on both surfaces, petiole 0.8-5.6 cm long, petiolules 2-3 mm long; stipules 5-7 mm long, ovate, striate; flowers axillary, solitary in pairs or in 3-4 flowered fascicles; pedicels 1-2 mm long, bracts 5-8 mm long, triangular, acuminate, bracteoles 4-5 mm long, narrowly triangular, acuminate; calyx pubescent, tube 1-2 mm long, lobes 5-12 mm long, narrowly triangular, acuminate; standard yellowish-cream, green or white, purple veined, 9-16 x 6-9 mm, oblong-obovate, emarginate; wings 8-11 mm long; keel 8-12 mm long; pods 2.8-4.7 cm x 5-8 mm, linear-oblong, sparsely hirsute, beak 3-5 mm long, 3-6-seeded; seeds reddish-brown mottled black, 5 x 3 x 1 mm, smooth.
