Tree 2-12(20) m tall; branches 4-lined when young becoming terete with whitish lenticels and eventually becoming greyish; Leaves yellowish-green to dark green above, greyish-green beneath, lamina c. 4-10 x 1.5-4.5 cm, oblong to elliptic or lanceolate, acute or shortly acuminate to obtuse or apiculate at apex, cuneate to angustate at base, margins obtusely glandular denticulate or rarely dentate or subentire, coriaceous; petioles 7-18 mm long; inflorescences in axillary cymes, peduncles 3-25 mm, bearing numerous greenish-yellow flowers in sub-globose clusters; flowers c. 4 mm in diameter; sepals 5, semi-circular, entire; petals 5, 1-1.5 mm long, oblong or elliptic-oblong with paler margin; stamens 5; fruit a sub-globose to ellipsoid or obovoid smooth drupe, yellow or greenish-yellow drying dark red, 13-18 mm long, |
