Description:
Tree 4-15 m. Leaves imparipinnate with 5(-7) leaflets; rhachis and petiole often winged. Leaflets: terminal 3-14 ×1.2-5.5 cm, elliptic or obovate, glabrous above, glabrous or pilose beneath; apex rounded to acuminate; margin entire. Inflorescence a terminal, several-many-flowered cyme with pedicels up to 2 mm. Corolla lobes (5-)6-7, 3-7 mm, each with an area of dark hairs reaching only halfway from mouth of corolla tube to petal margin. Anthers 1.25-2 mm. Fruit a clavate capsule, 2.5-4.5 cm, containing 8 winged seeds.
