Stems annual, glabrous, twining. Peduncles arising from the leaf axils bear a few flowers at different stages.

Habitat: On rock outcrops, in Brachystegia woodland, margins of forest and thickets, usually in damp and shady situations.
Altitude range: 750 - 1450 m

Worldwide distribution: Angola?, Botswana, DRC?, Namibia, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
