Perennial herb, up to 30 cm. Stems numerous, arising from a tufted centre, slightly woolly at the very base, otherwise glabrous. Leaves irregularly serrate, linear to narrowly elliptic, 30-40 × 2-4 mm, decreasing in size upwards. Phyllaries 20-22, 4-5 mm. Rays present, bright yellow. Ovary pubescent. Achenes 1-2 mm, black, 5-angled, with hairs on the angles. |
