Description:
Perennial climber. Leaflets broadly rhombic to oblate, ± lobed, glabrous or becoming so. Inflorescence an axillary pseudoraceme. Bracteoles 9-14 mm, ovate or elliptic. Calyx 5-lobed; upper 2 lobes ± completely fused. Corolla pale blue to mauve. Pod obong, black, 4-winged, 4-8-seeded. Seeds black-brown; hilum longitudinally bisecting the pale elliptic aril.
