Description:

Perennial herb, with many branching pubescent stems 2.5–10 cm long radiating from a woody rootstock, often forming small mats. Leaves elliptic to lanceolate, up to 1,5 cm long, rather thick, pubescent beneath with 2–3 distinct lateral veins; margins often recurved; petiole 1-2.5 mm long, pubescent, united with the stipule sheath in lower half; stipule sheath triangular-ovate, 1–2.5 mm long; 3-5-lobed, 0.8–3 mm long. Pedicels 1-4 mm long, mostly pubescent. Corolla white or blue, pubescent outside; tube 1.6–3 mm long; lobes 2–5 mm long. Capsule globose or ovoid, c. 2.2 mm long and wide, hairless or with short spreading hairs, beaked. |
