| Description: |
A small deciduous tree or shrub with zig-zag branching, Bark grey, shallowly furrowed. Branchlets with bark peeling in longitudinal strips. Leaves opposite or subopposite, mostly on short spur-shoots along the branches, sometimes on the trunk, and even on superficial roots. Inflorescences appearing with the new leaves, of subcapitate spikes borne on short spur-shoots. Fruit (4)5(6) winged. |
