Description: |
Scandent perennial. Stems at first light green, herbaceous, soon softly ligneous, with smooth greyish or brownish papyraceous bark. Leaves unknown. Male flowers numerous in nodal contracted or elongated racemiform fascicles on leafless stems, all parts puberulous; bracts small, linear; pedicels 1–3.4 cm long. Receptacle-tube 6–8.5 mm long, lobes lanceolate or broadly lanceolate, acute, ± acuminate, 8–13 × 1.5–3.2 mm. Petals pure white, obovate, rounded, apiculate, 3.2–4.7 × 1.8–2.8 cm. Anther-thecae glabrous. Female flowers unknown. Fruits and seeds unknown. |
