Erect herb up to 25 cm tall growing from a tuberous root; stem slender, pubescent; tendrils absent; leaves digitate, 3-foliate; petiole up to 3.2 cm long, pubescent, with a few short glands near apex; leaflet-lamina up to 4.3 x 0.6 cm (young leaves), linear to narrowly oblanceolate, margin serrate near apex, glabrous above and pubescent on the midrib below; stipules up to 7 x 3 mm, lanceolate-acuminate, pubescent; cymes ± terminal trichotomous ; peduncle up to 1.3 cm long, pubescent; pedicels up to 2.3 mm long pubescent with short purple-black capitate glands; flower bud c. 2 mm long, oblong-cylindric, very slightly constricted near the middle, pubescent; calyx purplish at the margins, 0.5 mm long, puberulous; ovary puberulous; style 1 mm long, slender, minutely capitate. |
