Annual herb 0.4 – 1 m tall; stems quadrangular, pubescent; leaves opposite, sessile, c. 35-125 x 4-20 mm, narrowly elliptic, margins with small widely spaced serrations, apex acuminate, base cuneate; inflorescence densely conical, 30-35 x 18-20 mm in fruit; bracts subtending entire inflorescence in whorl of 4, 20-50 mm long, narrowly ovate, acuminate; calyx shortly glandular hairy on outside corolla white or pale blue to lilac, 15-16 mm long. |
