Slender woody twiner with minutely hairy stems up to c.5 m long, growing from a large tuber, latex white. Leaves opposite, broadly ovate to oblong or elliptic, 2.5–13 cm long, sometimes variable even on the same shoot, minutely hairy at least on the veins; petiole 0.5–5 cm long, minutely hairy. Inflorescences extra-axillary, subsessile, forming a dense sub-umbelliform cluster of flowers, minutely hairy; pedicels 3–5 mm long. Sepals ovate, c. 1 mm long, minutely hairy. Corolla rotate, yellow or green with brownish spots, c.10 mm in diameter and lobed for half its length; lobes broadly ovate or triangular, 2–3 mm long, hairless. Follicles and seeds unknown. |
