erect, perennial, Herb; hairless on all parts. Stems up to 30 cm long, slender, angular to narrowly winged. Leaves, linear, cylindrical, 15-35 mm long, sessile. Flowers axillary, solitary; peduncle 13 mm long; bracteoles persistent, minute, c. 1 mm long, lanceolate; pedicels 7 cm long, angular. Calyx subequal, the outer sepals slightly shorter than the inner; outer sepals oblong-ovate, margins entire, 6 mm long and 3 mm wide; inner sepals longer and narrower, 8 × 2 mm, lanceolate-acuminate with entire margins. Corolla funnel-shaped, 12 mm long, yel- low; stamens included; style 1, filiform, stigmas biglobular. Fruit and seeds not known. |
