Unarmed tree, to 15 m. Bark very distinctive, smooth, grey, pealing to reveal paler patches. Leaves 2-pinnate; pinnae in 3-4 pairs, each with 4-8 pairs of oblong, asymmetric leaflets. Inflorescence composed of short racemes arranged in dense terminal panicles. Flowers 4-merous. Fruit up to 7.5 cm, elliptic-oblong, thick. |
