Description

Bridal Veil Falls forms is an ideal picnic site within easy walking distance from the Chimanimani Village. The area is protected by National Parks of Zimbabwe and shows a small, nicely preserved area of evergreen vegetation, amidst a larger area of high-rainfall Brachystegia woodland. The area does not fall within the quartzite zone of the Chimanimani Mts and does not have any of the endemic species but it still yields a rich variety of interesting plants, such as Sium repandum, Crotalaria variegata, an unusual form of Eucomis autumnalis and a beautiful grove of the Wild Banana, Ensete ventricosum.
