Notes: Tree, 30 m high. Trunk single, large diameter. Bark peels off in woody discs to reveal a pale, smooth undersurface. Leaves clustered on terminal shoots, paripinnate, discolorous, pendulent, with long petioles and petiolules. Leaflets opposite. Leaves whorled. Fruit a large pod, with 5 woody valves splitting open to reveal a central, pithy core.
