| Description: |
Leafy perennial up to 105 cm high, with a short rhizome. Culms many, crowded,glabrous, rounded, slender. Leaf blades linear, stiff, erect. Inflorescence a slender panicle, with main branches protruding from the upper leaf sheaths and ending in a few usually stalked and solitary spikelets. Spikelets ovoid; glumes orange-brown to brown; perianth of 6 equal bristles, 3-3.5 mm long. |
