Shrub or small to medium-sized tree. Leaves imparipinnate with 2-4 pairs of leaflets and a terminal leaflet. Leaflets lanceolate, elliptic to oblong, 4-14 cm long, more or less glabrous when mature except for domatia in the axils of lateral veins below; young leaves densely covered in pink or white glandular hairs and resinous; apex pointed; margin entire. Flowers in clustered spikes at the ends of branchlets, creamy-yellow, densely covered in woolly stellate hairs, appearing before the leaves. Fruits subspherical to ovoid, fleshy, 9 × 7 mm. |
