Mostly seen as a thicket forming shrub up to 6 m tall at roadsides, but can grow taller in open woodland. Leaves 1.5−4(7) cm long (compare Brachystegia spiciformis). Leaflets in 2−4(6) contiguous or overlapping pairs, increasing in size distally, dull and glaucous in appearance. |
