Herb 5-10 cm tal growing from a napiform (turnip-shaped) warty tuber; stems annual or partly perennial 1-3 cm long; leaves 7-14 x 5-15 cm, broadly ovate to subcircular, petiole 1-4 mm long, ± appressed to the ground, with or without glands at the lamina-base; inflorescence in cymes of 1-10 flowers either male, female or hermaphrodite, cream-coloured with peduncle up to 4 mm; capsule 1.5-2.5 x 1 cm., obovoid-oblong, smooth. |
