entire or lobed, often fleshy. Lip lobed or toothed, spurred, adnate to column at base. Column very short.
Pollinia granular; caudicles very short; viscidia small, naked. Worldwide: 50-60 species in trop. Africa, South Africa and trop. Arabia.
