| Notes: | 0.5 m high; Graminoid; Notes: Tufted to somewhat stoloniferous, perennial grass, up to 0,5 m when in flower. Culms geniculate ascending, rooting from lower nodes, glabrous, branched. Leaves basally tufted. Leaf blade narrowly lanceolate, 70 x 3 - 4 mm, grey-green, margins thickened, scabrous, conspicuously hispid, mostly folded. Ligule membranous, somewhat fimbriate with long white hairs continuous on collar. Leaf sheath tightly circumculmate, overlapping basally, blue-green, glabrous but for margins, persistent. Inflorescence narrowly ovate panicle, 150 x 60 mm, 2 secondary axis whorled at 1 -2 cm intervals, ascending, slender, sinuate pedicels apically thickened. Spikelets paired, narrowly ovate, acute, 1,5 cm long, awnless, entirely deciduous. |
